About Me

Hello! I’m Dhruv Jani, a graduate student pursuing an MS in Operations Research at Columbia University. With a solid foundation in mathematical analytics and operations research from my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, I bring a wealth of knowledge in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, R, and TensorFlow.

My research experiences span from leveraging advanced generative models for autonomous vehicle systems to contributing to molecular drug discovery models at the National Institutes of Health. Coupled with my practical experience in data analysis and optimization, I am passionate about tackling complex challenges and driving innovation in various domains.

Outside of academics, I’ve been actively involved in leadership roles, managing council funds and conducting educational workshops, reflecting my commitment to both academic excellence and community engagement. Some books that I love to read are: Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, Everybody Lies by Seth Stephens-Davidowitz and The Art of Thinking Clearly by Rolf Dobeli.
